Novartis is a global healthcare company based in Switzerland. Novartis operates businesses focusing on innovative patented medicines and generics, medicines including more than 50 keys marketed products, many of which are market leaders among their therapeutic area, and generics offering more than 1,000 different types of high quality, affordable products across a broad range of therapeutic areas.

BuildIn secured a general contracting agreement with Novartis for several of its renovation projects including civil, infrastructure, exterior and landscape works. Scope of work comprises of column strengthening and mechanical demolition and managing the full external interface, including the façades renovation, installation of the cladding systems, infrastructure re-routing, road network upgrade and landscaping (softscape and hardscape) as detailed below:

• Column Strengthening of building B20 using different methods of steel and concrete jacketing
• Mechanical Demolition of Lab Building
• Façade Renovation of building B20 & B43, installing curtain wall system, aluminum cladding, brick cladding as well as paint
• Road Network upgrade by removing the old pre-cast concrete slabs, re-leveling of the factory main roads, executing a new drainage system below the new road network, and lastly casting fairfaced concrete roads finished by helicopter technique
• Landscape design and execution including curbs, interlock sidewalks, green areas softscaping and outdoor lighting elements
